Making My Way Along the Highways of West Texas by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: A setting looking to the north at a roadside pullout along Texas State Highway 118. My thinking in composing this image was to use the road and center stripe as a leading line into the image with Elephant Mountain and other peaks of the Big Bend Ranges off in the distance. I took advantage of the swiveled out LCD screen and used LiveView to center and line up the image as well as finding a focus point. I later worked with control points in DxO PhotoLab 5 and then made some adjustments to bring out the contrast, saturation and brightness I wanted for the final image.
